My Passion for Art
I have always been practicing my creativity. My longest interest has been drawing, being influenced by comics, books, movies and cartoons. My next passion was stop-motion films with toys. During high school, I discovered the world of cinema. Since then, I have graduated from a year-long film college program that included volunteer placement. Please find my portfolio of films and drawings in the navigation links.
Good storytelling is complicated and involves many moving parts. Aristotle, an ancient Greek philosopher, described seven unique elements: plot, character, story, dialogue, melody, decoration, and spectacle. Even a simple short campfire ghost story can be an excellent example of how meaning can be "encoded" into these elements and to be "decoded" by the audience.
Another influence of mine is literature. Beyond being a basic exercise from school, reading provides another world that we can step inside. Books, magazines or newspapers are also a great tool to participate in the wider world, whether fiction or non-fiction.
